Spent a sunny day walking the
Portsmouth Harbour Trail. There was a lot of activity along the
Piscataqua River due to the construction of a new bridge. The Trail is a self-guided walking tour where we saw 18th and 19th century buildings, the waterfront, an old cemetary with skull and crossbones on the headstones and Prescott Park.

Stumbled on a small cafe named
Geno's and had lobster stew with a lobster roll. Come to find out, this cafe is famous for celebrity visits. The owner had photos of her with Barbara Bush and Mitt Romney.

After lunch we toured the
Albacore Submarine which was a experimental lab for testing which was used from 1952-1972. It was never used in combat nor was it outfitted for a combat situation.

Arrived at dad's just before dark and plan on staying here for a week before heading to Florida. Dad looks good and the house was clean and tidy. He's not happy that his car is officially off the road with no insurance and no plates. I'm trying to convince him that he should sell the car and use the money for taxi fare but he's not too excited about that. He's on the list for the Soldier's Home in Holyoke and they could call any time. When they call, he's got 48 hours to pack up a bag and go. He's open to the idea of trying it for a month or two. Everyone thinks the social enviroment will be good for him and I agree, it's got to be boring being home alone all the time.
Got a call from Christi this morning, her car is fully packed and she's making her final move to Montreal. As of today, she's officially a Montreal resident. She's still looking for a LPN position and hopes she finds one within walking distance from her apartment. Good luck Christi.
