WENT TO HELL TODAY

That's right, Hell, Michigan.  While staying at Heartland Woods Family Resort in Stockbridge, Michigan for 3-nights, I Googled things to do nearby.  The thing to do nearby was visit Hell.  Hell is an unincorporated community 15 miles northwest of Ann Arbor.  It's an interesting place and if you want to learn a bit about its history, click here:  History of Hell, Michigan

Had lunch at the Hell Hole Bar famous for their Walleye.  I chose the baked stuffed (crawfish, shrimp and scallops) Walleye with smashed red potatoes and coleslaw and Denis opted for the Buzzard Reuben made with turkey.  Both meals were delicious, ample and cheap.

After lunch, we walked to the other two buildings in town.  One sold every kind of Hell souvenir you can think of.  I bought a Coffee from Hell mug and Denis got a t-shirt emblazoned with the fires of hell and the words "no worries, we're all accepted in Hell".  We didn't opt to pay the $100 to be mayor of the day but they had an opening available.

This is where we ate lunch

Post Office in the restaurant - the glow is the fires of Hell

Waiting for a drink

Do I really want a drink at the Hell Saloon?

Anyone looking for a venue for their wedding?

All the stores in Stockbridge had Halloween decorations set up
Cloudy, cool and damp day ... perfect for a day in Hell.  Hahahaha
Thanks for stopping in to say hi.  God Bless
