Amy is "Fighting Cancer Like a Girl"

Been a while since I've had a chance to get to the blog and so I'll just put it in a nutshell.  Spent almost two weeks in my parent's driveway helping them out with odds & ends.  Had the opportunity to bring Denis' godchild, Bianca, and her dad, Tom, to the shooting range.  Bianca had a very good eye.  That same day we had the chance to meet a real Buddist monk from India at Heartsong Yoga in East Longmeadow.  Very interesting philosophy.  The next day we walked 5 miles for the Rays of Hope to raise money for breast cancer research.  My girlfriend, Ellen, has a young daughter who just completed her treatments.  Her team, Amy's Pink Ladies, raised over $10,000 and got their picture in the local paper.  Hip Hip Hooray!  Now we're back in Quebec and will be here until we leave for our winter travels just before Thanksgiving.
