Thousand Trails Orlando had two families of Sandhill Cranes this year

We attended Christmas mass here in Orlando - You must visit this church, very unique
Ok, so I haven't written since December 11th, but I did tell you we were doing some R&R in Orlando for two weeks. Weather was sunny, warm & very relaxing.  We drove the 300 plus miles to a new ROD in Long Key, Florida. We drove through the Florida Everglades and Key Largo to Islamorada where we found Fiesta Key Resort.  Today we drove down to Key West to mile marker zero.  Walked along Duval Street, saw Ernest Hemingway's house and visited the Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory.  We needed a new battery for the motorcoach and the closest Sears store was in Key West.  Other than the Butterfly Conservatory, I wouldn't go back to Key West.  Personally, I think it's too commercialized and rather shoddy looking.  But if you're looking for a Provincetown atmosphere and like to bar hop, it's ideal.  Key Largo and Islamorado are my favorites by far.
