Daytona 500

Sunday's race cancelled due to heavy rain
Under the Lights
START YOUR ENGINES!!   Daytona 500 makes history & we were there.  First time in 53 years that a race is cancelled due to rain - first time under lights.  First time for a woman to qualify, congratulations Danica Patrick.  First time that a racer, Juan Montoya No. 42 Chevrolet, slams into a jet dryer & bursts into flames. We left the race before the jet dryer incident and glad we did.  Waiting until midnight for the last 40 laps is just crazy.  Matt Kenseth won his second Daytona 500.  Congratulations Matt.  Going to this race was in the book "1000 Things To Do Before I Die".  Well we did it, it was fun & exciting, very noisey and filled with a lot of very drunk people.  Glad we went, YES!  Will we go again, probably NOT!
7 PM Monday Night - The roar of the engines is totally awesome
