Yesterday morning we took the campground shuttle to the beach and spent the day. It was a perfect beach day with sunny, blue skies and we celebrated my birthday (knowing that it was going to rain today). We had lunch on the patio at Splash, which is the only ocean view restaurant on Ogunquit Beach. We shared creamy clam chowder, steamed mussels and clams. I ordered a frozen Coco Cabana (banana, ice cream and coconut rum). It was a dessert and drink combination.
