St-Ferreol-les-Neiges

In my last post I mentioned that we were looking forward to slowing down the pace.  We've been here a week and haven't had to chance to do that yet, but it's coming soon.  We're tying up loose ends and preparing for our "big year".  The coach and tow vehicle are in good shape after some necessary service.  We re-organized the storage bins, got rid of stuff we don't need and put our biking, kayaking and hiking gear in the car instead of the coach.  This freed up a lot of space in the coach and our gear is where we need it when we need it.
Denis bought his mom a tablet with video phone conferencing and set it up for her.  This was not an easy task.  He tried three different tablets before finding one that is simple to use and spent a lot of time teaching his mom, Christi and Daniel how to use it.  That's done and the Letendre family will be able to video conference anytime, anywhere for free.  Good job Denis.
Dad did it again.  He drove to the RMV to try to fight a medical complaint to revoke his right to drive.  The RMV would not allow him to drive home because he doesn't have a valid driver's license and the state police had to bring him home.  Long story short, his license has been revoked, insurance has been denied and I think he finally understands that he cannot drive.  I had a long talk with dad about selling the car and consider moving to the Soldier's Home.
Christi is moving to Montreal on November 1st.  She's very excited about this move and is looking forward to finding work in one of the many hospitals located within a ten minute radius from her apartment.  Good luck Christi.
This is what Denis looked like when we first met
