Hanging Out

It's funny how the days pass and I forget to write in my blog.  I guess it's because we've been hanging out around the campground and not doing anything "exciting".  I don't want to bore you with the details for how I did the laundry, some house cleaning, made some phone calls, spent time fixing a glitch on the computer and stuff like that.  When the sun's out, we're outside soaking in the rays, riding our bikes or taking power walks around the park.

Every weekend, the park has tag and craft sales and it's fun to see what people create in their spare time.  One Quebec lady makes hats, water bottle holders and pouches out of those plastic bags from the grocery stores (you would never guess by looking at them that that's what they're made of).  Another couple is into beautiful gem stones and makes one of a kind pieces of silver jewelry.  She gets her stones directly from the mines all around the world and by cutting out the middle men sells her jewelry for a lot less than retail..  She had rings that would sell for $200 for less than half that price. She buys all her silver chains from Italy ... beautiful!   I took her name and number ... you never know. 

Of course you can't leave empty handed from the craft show.  I bought a toast grabber, a scrubber for getting bugs off the front of the coach, two purple beaded bracelets and two racks for Mexican Train for a grand total of $15.
