Saying Goodbye to Disney

These two represent the whole Disney experience
Our annual pass expired today and we have mixed feelings about it.  I think we've exhausted our Disney experience and feel relieved that it's over.  We were hoping to ride Big Thunder Railroad and Space Mountain but even though we got there early, the fast pass tickets were not available until after 5PM and that's too long of a wait for us.  So instead we rode the PeopleMover through Tomorrowland and watched Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress.  The Carousel was Walt's idea and was designed for the New York World's Fair in 1964, very interesting.

We helped power the city of Monstropolis at Monster's Inc. Laugh Floors.  Because it is an interactive show, they pick people from the audience and put their face up on a giant TV screen.  Boy, was I surprised when I saw my face up there and a microphone being held for me to answer questions asked by a Pixar character.  Yes, I acted like a fool and had a lot of fun.  Too bad, Denis wasn't able to take a video of it because words cannot describe how silly it was.

We've been pretty good about not eating too much junk food while at the parks but we broke
all the rules today and had a fried chicken

sandwich, french fries, pasta primavera and for dessert, cotton candy and taffy.  Why does something that tastes so good make us feel so lousy both mentally and physically??!!!  Time for that serious detox I've been putting off.

I made my movie debut here

Some of the best entertainment is in the streets
