Drove our 180 miles today from Erhenberg to Apache Junction with one stop at the Flying J for gas and air. This Encore park reserves 25 sites for us Thousand Trail members and with so many snowbirds heading north we have plenty of room. The last time we were here Pugsey and Hercules were still with us. The park is enclosed by a fence and they give dog owners a key to exit and enter. It brought back fond memories of our pugs and the walks we took with them.
We love this area of Arizona and if I had to stay in one place, this would be my first choice. President Theodore Roosevelt said "The Apache Trail combines the grandeur of the Alps, the glory of the Rockies, the magnificence of the Grand Canyon and then adds the indefinable something that none of the others have."
No pictures today, but I promise to have some good ones for you next time.
Another nice area to visit, have fun there.
ReplyDeleteWe love being here in AJ. It's far enough away from the city so we feel like we're in the country. So much to see and do.
