Could have fooled me!

From a distance he looked human
We enjoy taking a 20-30 minute walk each morning before breakfast.  Being the friendly neighbors that we are, we always wave to people who are sitting outside with their morning cup of coffee.  There was a guy sitting outside with sunglasses that looked very old and not in the best of health so I gave him a friendly wave and he didn't wave back.  Denis laughed and said "did you wave to that guy?"  Here's his photo, you decide.

Denis spent a good part of today working on the taxes.  I think he's beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I cleaned and tidied the pantry shelves, washed the floor and did a load of laundry.  By noon, my work was done and I could enjoy the beautiful, sunny and hot day here in Ehrenberg, Arizona.

Quick drive to the local post office to mail out the taxes and find a place to fix the AC in the Saturn.  Found one in Blythe that will take us tomorrow morning.

Got an ooVoo call from Denis' mom, Jeannine.  She received our Easter card and the package of stuffed dates from the street fair in Palm Desert.  She had never eaten a date before and was amazed that these sweet little things grew on a palm tree.
