REPAIRS FINISHED - DEVILS TOWER NATIONAL MONUMENT

We spent most of the morning waiting for the new radiator hoses to be installed.  Yesterday they inspected and flushed the radiator and located the holes in the hose.  They also found the leak in our washing machine hose and replaced it.  Today they replaced the radiator thermostat, the cap, the hoses and whatever else radiator repair guys do.  The job is finished, our warranty would not cover maintenance repairs and we found ourselves writing out a check for $1,000. The I-90 RV Repair mechanics were very good, however, I hate the grease and dirt they leave behind.

Anyways, it was nice to get out of there and on the road to Wyoming.  Just under 100 miles of driving and we could see the Devils Tower in the distance ... just like the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind with Richard Dreyfess.  For those of you who remember the movie, I kept expecting to see dead cattle along the road.   We had our choice of sites at the park campground and with no hookups, it took us minutes to set up.  Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny with temperatures in the low 60's.  It will be a perfect day for hiking any one of their five trails.

That's all folks - thanks for stopping in.

  1. Nice to get back on the road again with a few less dollars in you bank account. But then again the no matter what it is your need to repair things.
We have our share the last two years.
    Enjoy your hiking.
