Today was a perfect day to tackle the trails. The ranger recommended Jenny Lake to Inspiration Point and Hidden Falls. We put on our hiking shorts, filled our backpacks with plenty of water and snacks, laced up our hiking boots and off we went. It started off easy and proceeded to get more difficult as we went along. The views were majestic with the snow capped peaks, deep blue skies, light blue lake and bright yellow flowers. The goat path to Inspiration Point was challenging and fun. Unlike some others, we made it to the top and enjoyed God's beauty before heading back down. The trip was a stretch at 6.2 miles but well worth every step.

We were hungry, tired and had one hour before 5:00 mass. A mutual decision was made to get something to eat at Trapper Grill in Signal Mountain Lodge. We split an order of fish and chips. I ordered a nice cold beer that really hit the spot.

| Perfect portion size for two - I like trying the local beers - this one had a citrus flavor |
We went to Chapel of the Sacred Heart which was built 1913. Lovely, small chapel that filled with people quickly. Denis volunteered to do the reading.
