HAVING FUN

Sorry, the last few days slipped by without a post and I'll try to catch up.  We bought hair clippers and I gave Denis a haircut.  That's a first for me and was surprised how easy it was.  Denis is really happy with the cut too.

This icicle is proof that the nights have been cold and you can see Denis' haircut
We had friends show up yesterday and we all went out for dinner. We went to Jackalope Ranch Restaurant in Indio.  That's the first time we've been there and it was excellent.  It was a 30-minute wait so we decided to eat in the lounge area and it worked out great.  Shared a huge platter of nachos and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal.  Wednesday nights are two-step night and people were dressed in cowboy boots and hats.  The music started just about the time we had finished eating and we watched those two-steppers strut their stuff.  Guess we'll have to go back some time dressed for dancing because it sure did look like fun.

The restaurant was fully decked out for Christmas and the gangs all here

This is outside the front of the restaurant - if it was warm, the back patio looked inviting
This morning Kurt and Diane went with us to the Farmer's Market to replenish our supply of produce, baked goods and raw honey.  We took a walk around the park and picked plenty of fresh citrus for breakfast tomorrow morning.

We had another wonderful therapeutic massage today and feel GREAT!

That's all folks!  Thanks for stopping in.

    1. I hope with practice my skills will improve, but, first try wasn't bad. Saving money and not having to find a salon is a big plus.
