Yeah, we picked up Daniel at the airport Wednesday night. He had a very long day of traveling but arrived safe and sound.
Thursday was a day to relax by the pool and enjoy the sunshine. That night we drove to Organ Stop Pizza to show Daniel The Mighty Wurlitzer and share a pizza. It was fun up until the point when some undisciplined children from upstairs decided to throw a plastic cup down to our table. The cup splashed into spaghetti sauce causing an explosion of sauce which splattered us and the four people sitting next to us. What a mess. We called the manager but, of course, the culprits already bolted. The manger apologized, paid for all our meals and gave us a coupon for our next meal there. I couldn't wait to get home to wash my hair, which was splattered with sauce and we needed to soak our clothes overnight in Oxi-Clean.
Today we drove the Apache Trail to Tortilla Flats for lunch and drove all the way around to Roosevelt Dam, Tonto National Park and the Cliff Dwellings. It was a long day for all and Daniel's back was giving him pain on the walk down from the Cliff Dwellings.
Daniel and Denis are at the pool and hot tub for a good soak after a long, fun day. It's so nice to be able to enjoy this time with our son.
Thanks for stopping in.

Family time is always a great time! Looks like you enjoyed your time here in my neck of the woods. The Apache Trail is one of my favorites.
