We went to Victoria Palms this morning to pick up Dave and Sandy. We planned on spending the afternoon at the RV show in Mercedes. We paid our $5 EACH at the gate, found a good parking spot and strolled through a few of the buildings selling all kinds of RV stuff. After walking for a while and going through a few fifth wheels and modular homes, we started wondering where the motor homes were. Come to find out they didn't have any there. What a rip off. I told Denis we should ask for our $20 back because they advertised motor home sales and that's what we were there to look at. Thankfully, they refunded our money without a fuss.
We all decided it was time for lunch and after much discussion about where to go, we ended up going to Panda Express. Dave and Sandy had never eaten there before and heard good things about it. Our niece, Amanda, was the one who first turned us on to Panda Express and we've never been disappointed.

After a good lunch, we drove back to Victoria Palms and Dave and Sandy toured us around the park on their new golf cart. They work at the park and get up at 5AM six days a week, put in three hours in exchange for a site and park perks. It's hard work and I give them a thumbs up for a job well done.
It was a nice afternoon spent with nice people. Thanks Dave and Sandy for showing us around the park and spending a fun afternoon with us.
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping in.
No motorhomes. I've never heard of an RV show without motorhomes. But Panda Express - now you're talking my language.

Good for you for asking for your refund. That's something I'd do, too. My daughter introduced me to Panda Express, she loves it, too. :)
