TWO BEAUTIFUL SOULS CALLED HOME

My mother-in-law and a good friend were called home. My mother-in-law, Jeannine, passed on New Years Day and my friend Barbara on the 2nd.   We knew their time was near but didn't expect them to pass within a day apart.  My hubby, had plane tickets from Phoenix to Hartford and I dropped him off to the airport on Sunday.  It's a full day of flying and he made it there safe and sound.  He'll be coming back, hope the winter storms don't cause a delay, on Friday.  It's feels strange to be separated from my best friend and husband.  I think most full-timers know how "tied to the hip" couples are when we have this lifestyle.

While Denis is away I've been doing some intensive house cleaning, you know, those areas that aren't so obvious but need attention every once in a while.  I joined the RV community for a all-you-can-eat soup social last night which was fun.  All you can eat for me is one bowl of soup, some bread and a cookie but I got my $3 worth, for sure.

I hate to tell Denis what beautiful weather we're having here in Arizona because they are freezing on the east coast.  The sunsets have been pretty spectacular too but I hate to rub it in.
