While we were eating, both of us kept saying "yum, this is so good" over and over again. It's nice when you cook a meal and surprise ourselves how tasty it came out. We have leftover turkey for TL&T sandwiches for lunch and the turkey came with a gravy mix (gluten-free) that we'll be able to make hot turkey sandwiches later on.
Denis misses not have brownies so he bought a box gluten-free mix but it called for eggs which I can't have. So he made it was a flax/water substitute and we used applesauce instead of oil. They came out like fudge and surprisingly pretty tasty but not very eye appealing.

This morning our friends George & Suzie left and I walked over to say goodbye but we'll see them again in Quartzsite.
My arm is finally starting to feel better and now I'm beginning to think it was a combination of moving and cleaning the rig from top to bottom. Plus I may have pulled a muscle while doing the Esscentrics arm and shoulder strength/stretching exercises. Guess I'll have to more careful from now on and NO MORE moving/lifting for me, those days are over.
I've had requests for a photo of our zippered awning sunscreen. The photo shows just the part that stays attached to the awning.

Not one of our more exciting days, but it was nice to listen to the rain and read by the fireplace. Thanks for stopping in.

Sounds like an awesome meal especially done on the Weber Q, love the Turkey too.
ReplyDeleteWas nice visiting with you guys again and looking forward to Quartzsite. Have fun at Yuma Lakes.
