As new CRA members, this park is new to us. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. However, the park is small and has tight sites that are mostly paved (feels like a large parking lot instead of a campground). The RV storage area is actually larger than the campground. In my opinion, they put the storage area where the campground should be. The campground is too close to I-10 and the noise is awful. When I walked back to the storage area, the noise was considerably less. Poor planning.
They do have some pretty areas, especially the snow-capped mountain range that is visible from the park. Again, if the campground was located where the storage area is, the view would be much better. They have a nice pool, spa and duck ponds which are inviting but sitting out there listening to the traffic is not relaxing. Too bad..
After being in the desert without hookups last week, I had loads of laundry to do and got most of that done today. Loving the separate washer and drying which has a larger capacity than our Splendid washer/dryer combo in the Commander.
Denis spent most of the day washing the car and coach because it sure was dusty after sitting out in the desert.
I think we'll need to find some nice hiking trails in the area in order to find some peace and quiet.
Thanks for stopping in to say hi.

Is nice there but way to noisey . Like to hot tub though,
ReplyDeleteLots of nice things to see and hiking not to far away.
Sorry it's so noisy. The hiking will hopefully help.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing that can break the serenity of a moment more than noise. Sounds like you might be heading back to the desert soon.
ReplyDeleteBe safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
