FISHERMAN'S RETREAT

We're still at Fisherman's Retreat in Redlands, California.  Unfortunately, our nice lakefront spot was taken away from us and we had to move further away for our remaining five days here.  Sounds easy enough and the move was easy but trying to find a flat spot so that our auto-levelers would work was another story. We backed in and out five times before finally settling for a spot and even then we had to manually level.  So now we're level but the back passenger's side wheels are slightly off the ground.  That's a lot of weight to hold and we're a bit nervous about it.  Unfortunately, there are no other sites available.

We like the lake area here and the walk around the three lakes is a mile long which is very nice.  The park hosts fishing derby's and the weekends can get pretty busy.  So far I've only seen one person catch a big trout.  The bass fishing is catch and release.

Denis has been helping Tony out with a few repairs on the coach and I've been engrossed in several good books.

We invited Tony & Mieke over to watch the Super Bowl and I made hot wings, plain drumsticks for Denis' sensitive mouth and potato salad.  It wasn't exactly the most exciting game but I was for Denver and happy to see them win.  Denis fell asleep during the game and Tony & Mieke left shortly after half time.  Not exactly big fans of football.

Waiting for the train to cross

he's not sleeping) the Superbowl

Thanks for stopping in to say hi.  Hope you had a good day too.
