STILL AT THE BEACH AND LOVING IT

We've been loving the weather and the day-to-day life of being beach bums that I haven't thought too much of keeping up with my blog.

The BIG news is our second granddaughter, Kloe, was born on July 15th at 9 pounds and 21 inches. She is a beautiful and healthy baby girl and we're looking forward to meeting her for the first time tomorrow.   So prepare yourselves for loads of pictures.

Our house painting business has been busier than usual (which is a good thing) and that keeps us busy mostly in the mornings which gives us the afternoon to bike ride to the beach or go out for a bite to eat.  Speaking of eating, I thought we'd try the new Indian restaurant nearby which has great reviews.  I guess the food was good but our mouths and lips were burning so much that we couldn't enjoy it.  First and last time we'll go there, plus it was too expensive for us.  But we did go on the recommendation of our friend Larry to Shane's of Maine for a fish chowder and lobster roll for the great price of $9.99.  It was GREAT!

This was our dessert at the Indian restaurant - it's made of beets & nuts

Well that pretty much catches you all up on what we've been up to.  Thank you for stopping in, have a great day and God bless.
