PUT-IN-BAY, OHIO

Thank you to our friends, Michael & Joanne Gay, for telling us about Put-in-Bay.  It was a slight detour from where we were heading but well worth it.  We left in the rain, drove in drizzle and arrived to sunshine and blue skies.  The 20-minute ferry ride to get to the the island was $28 round trip and worth every penny.  We parked our coach and tow vehicle and walked onto the ferry.  We rented a golf cart when we landed (another $35 for the day) and toured the island for 4-hours.  Plenty of time to have lunch, shop, sight see and stop for a beer before heading back for the 5:00 ferry.  We both enjoyed the day and so happy our friends suggested we go there.

Talked Denis into doing a bit of shopping and having a drink overlooking this view - He's got such a tough life, huh?

Fun day and it's so nice to walk off the ferry and have our house on wheels waiting for us and where we'll spend the night.  Thank you for stopping in to say hi and God Bless.
