Happy first of September. The first of every month Hercules gets his heartworm medicine, nails trimmed and a bath. He takes his medicine and bath with no problem, however, he hates his nailed trimmed and fights us the whole time, we won the battle. Suffering from battle fatigue, it was a good time to recline in the sun and listen to Les Miserable on my Kindle. I'm beginning to wonder if this story will ever end and it's so different from the movie. We went to the beach around 4:00 and walked the shoreline to town, browsed some of the shops and had a light dinner at LaPizzeria. We shared chicken & spinach ravioli with marinara sauce and a garlic with white sauce thin crust pizza...yum!
