A whole week has gone by since I last updated my journal. That's because we haven't done anything fun since the Big E. We had dentist, vet and doctor appointments. No cavities for me, two for Denis, Hercules is in excellent health & hates to get his nails clipped and Denis' stress test went well. The doctor's want to put him on Zocor for slightly elevated cholesterol but he doesn't like the side effects and he plans on seeing a homeopathic doctor when we get back to the states for an alternative to Zocor. We both saw a dermatologist and had "suspicious" skin discolorations froze off. My nose is just starting to heal (I think she removed 3-4 layers). UGH!
Visited with mom & dad. Mom is very weak but alert and dad is stronger than mom but sleeps a lot & has memory problems. They both watch TV constantly. They are set up with an RN, case worker, meals on wheels and health aide.

Denis' mom, Jeannine, is older than my mom & dad and she is like an energizer bunny except that once in while her body needs recharging with a blood transfusion.
