Happy Mother's Day
Happy mother's day to all. This was my first mother's day without a mom. I realised today the things I've taken for granted for so long. Like calling mom and talking to her on the phone, picking out a nice card and sending flowers. I miss you mom.
Denis and Christi took me out for a nice lunch and we had a wonderful time catching up on all that's been happening in her busy life. Unfortunately, Daniel, had other plans and I was disappointed that he couldn't join us but he did bring over a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Didn't get a home made or a store bought card ... what's up with that??!! The sun came out later in the day and we look Hercules for a walk in the woods. I do like the smell of the woods early in the spring especially after the rain.
