Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day!

Grabbed my coffee mug and walked along the water's edge this morning hoping to sight the family of manatees that come through regularly, no luck, will try again tomorrow morning.  Slowing down and getting settled into island time is a process.  Enjoyed breakfast sitting at the picnic table in the morning sun with a good book.  Practised yoga underneath the tiki pavilion overlooking the turquoise water.  Shared a hog fish green salad with blueberries and raspberry vinaigrette at Island Fish Company in Marathon.  Shopped at Publix and bought fresh local caught swordfish and mahi-mahi.  Came back to the campsite and took a short nap in the gravity chairs before taking another walk along the water's edge.

He's still GOT it!
Next store neighbors - Dianna & Howard (5 years on yacht - first year on land)
Denis snapped this just as he took flight
This place had great atmosphere and food - we had lunch watching the pelicans

Met this family in Orlando - They sold their house and hit the road

Dave & Jennifer are not alone in their thinking.  We've met other families that have sold their houses and hit the road because of the uncertainty of the economy in the United States.  Being mobile allows them the opportunity to move quickly if the need arises.
