Day Two of 8-Day Cleanse

Winterhaven, CA - Sunny skies

My brother does a yearly detox and turned me on to "The Integris Cleanse" and we started it yesterday.  I was not excited about caffeine withdrawal so I stopped coffee about a week ago with no problem.  The program is pretty simple.  Days 1-4 you can eat all the low-cal veggies you want and Days 5-8 you can add grains.  The most difficult part is drinking a glass of water and taking the cleanzyme capsule every waking hour.  Three times a day you get a scoop of nutritional beverage mix which tastes good and you take a capsule for parasites.  After each meal you rinse and swallow some Aloe Vera.  Of course, this is only day two for us and having a green salad for breakfast this morning and steamed cauliflower for lunch was pretty strange.

We decided to start yesterday because it was Ash Wednesday and a fasting day anyway.  Denis is planning on not eating for the first four days and just take the supplements.  I wouldn't even attempt doing that.

I was hoping to find a spa in the area that offers massage with a sauna or steam room which would assist in removing toxins but I'm not having much luck.  The resort has a hot tub which is my last option and we used it last night.  If you're interesting in this product (I'm not soliciting) here's the link:

Wish us luck!
