Palm Desert, CA - Not a cloud in the sky and temps in the mid-70's

After running around like maniacs yesterday, we didn't go near the car today (except for Denis running the California Duster over it). We started the day with a brisk 30 minute walk around the park. This is a very active park with everyone doing their thing. The activity list is two pages and includes pickleball, hiking, horseshoes, Tai Chi Qigong, water aerobics, Wii bowling, water volleyball or for those less active, bingo, knitting or crochet lessons, movie night, jam sessions, card night and craft projects.
Yesterday Susan Rasmussen (who we don't know) stopped to say hi because she knows Larry Rasmussen (no relation) and Larry wanted us to meet a couple from Quebec that are here, Michelle and Bernard. I'm telling you this because it shows what a small world we live in. So who shows up this morning but Monique and Bernard. He's the same age as Denis and they are both active and fit. They invited us to join them for water volleyball sometime. Oh boy, here we go!!

With all the activity going on around us, we didn't feel the least bit guilty doing almost nothing today. Tomorrow is another day.

| Here's our beautiful new faucet |
Always something to do if you want to and so nice to meet other people from home too.
ReplyDeleteThe faucets looks good, finally!
Denis did a nice job with the faucet. Thanks
DeleteLooks like a lovely park and great activities. Just wondering what the name of it is. Enjoy! Judy & John
