Today is my dad's 84th birthday and he got to celebrate it with my brother, Ken, Kathleen and his dog Mikey. He enjoyed getting out of the Soldier's Home for a couple of nights.

Denis, Tony and Mieke left this morning to do errands and Mieke got a massage by Kim. I decided to stay behind to video conference with my dad while he was staying at my brother's. Although I call him almost every day at the Soldier's Home, it was special to be able to see him while we chatted. It also gave me time to do a little house cleaning, a load of laundry, yoga and make up another double batch of organic rice before they got back.
After lunch we all headed over to the Yuma Foothills to visit with our Triple E Commander RV friends, Alton and Wendy. We haven't seen them for probably three years and they bought a site with full hookups to park their motor home. It was a nice way to spend a sunny afternoon catching up on what they've been doing.
