Packing up and heading out tomorrow morning. I'm not sad to say goodbye because this is not one of my favorite places. The park is nice and so are the people. We are just very frustrated with the lack of a quality signal for cell service and the intermittent Internet connection. It's not a very pretty area with all its brown hills of dirt, the sound of the highway and that blasted train whistle at night. Can you tell I'm more than ready to move on?
Wonderful location if you want to visit Algodones, Mexico. You can't beat the prices for dental work, eye exams, prescriptions and even a quality haircut. Be sure to get there early and get out before noon otherwise you'll be in a very long line trying to get through the border.
Today we were first in line when the pharmacy opened at 8AM and filled a prescription for our friends Dave and Sharon. Went to the dentist to have them polish a filling they did earlier and pay off our bill. We were out of there and at Kim's for our massage by 9AM and back home before 11AM. Whew, that morning passed quickly.
Denis had just enough time to put the bikes on the car, do a quick cleaning of the car and rig before we knew it, it was time for happy hour at John and Norma's.
