Ehrenberg, AZ - Temps in the 90's again

Busy day but never left the park.  Denis was completely tied up with preparing personal and corporate tax returns today.  This is a major undertaking because he not only does ours but our four business partners.  Being the smart lady that I am, I left him alone at the back of the motor home to do his thing without interruption.

I found plenty to do in the front of the coach that I've been putting off.  Got all the kitchen cabinets and drawers emptied, washed and re-organized, what a nice accomplishment.  Another batch of Kombucha was ready to be poured into bottles and I started a new batch.  We just love that fermented tea and it's so good for us.

During this season of Lent we've been diligent about doing the gospel readings every morning and our Three O'clock Prayer to the Divine Mercy.  We were introduced to the Divine Mercy Prayer when we were in Orlando and attended mass at St. Faustina's Church.  The Divine Mercy is based on the writings of Saint Faustina Kowalska, an uneducated Polish nun who, in obedience to her spiritual director, wrote a diary of about 600 pages recording revelations she received about God's mercy.  Even before her death in 1938, the devotion to The Divine Mercy had begun to spread. http://www.ewtn.com/devotionals/mercy/index.htm

This Gambel's Quail visited us early this morning

Nice parish in Blythe

The quarter moon shows up nicely against the black sky
Spent a bit of time on ooVoo and the phone today talking with my dad, my brother Ken, my step daughter Christi and our son Daniel.  It's always nice to catch up on what's happening in their lives.  Ken is busy contracting out workers to repair the water damage caused by Hurricane Sandy at their Connecticut beach house.  Christi started a new job at a private rehabilitation center in Montreal.  Daniel is working things out with his girlfriend and getting through a very cold winter in Quebec City.

Hope you all had a Happy St. Patrick's Day.

  1. Taxes - such a bad word. I really need to get to work on ours. I just keep putting it off and off and off.
