In-N-Out Burger Taste Test

Palm Springs, CA - Beautiful sunny day

Yesterday we visited Tony and Mieke at their park and Denis changed his oil/filter and greased the fittings underneath the rig.  Tony bought a electric grease gun for Denis at the park's site tag sale for $35 (they originally go for $90).  Once that job was finished it was time for lunch and we plugged into the GPS the closest In-N-Out Burger.  I've heard so much from fellow bloggers about how great these burgers are and I've never tasted one.

The line to order was long but moved quickly since there are only three items on the menu Hamburger, Cheeseburger and Fries.  Denis doesn't eat beef so Mieke was nice enough to cook him a chicken breast.  He ordered a burger, gave the patty to Tony and slipped in his piece of chicken.  I was impressed that all the food is made to order with the highest quality ingredients with no preservatives, fillers, MSG, etc.

I can't eat McDonald's or Burger King burgers without getting a stuffy nose and phelmy cough so this was a test for me.  I'm happy to announce that my cheeseburger and fries were delicious and I did not get an allergic reaction.

Waiting in line
Next taste test will be at Five Guys which I've heard so much about.

After lunch we went back to Desert Pools RV Park and soaked in the mineral springs hot tub, enjoyed a very hot sauna and a nice dip in the pool.  After all that sweating, Tony made us a nice cool drink.

They have three spas and this is the hottest one at 104

Thanks for stopping in.

  2. And I thought I was the only person left on the planet that hadn't eaten there.
