PIKES PEAK AMERICA'S MOUNTAIN

Today was a perfect day to drive up to Pikes Peak - blue sunny skies and warm temperatures.  With an altitude of 14,000 feet above sea level, our ears were popping.  It was a pleasant drive with spectacular views.  We were surprised that the toll was $12 per person, not per car.

Sunny skies at the bottom but clouds and snow flurries at the top

Nice place to stop about half way up

Clark's Nutcracker

Beautiful reservoir - lots of people were fishing

Bigfoot has been spotted in this area
Happy Mother's Day!
This is the second Mother's Day without my mom and I miss her.
Happy Mother's Day Mom - I miss you
