ANOTHER NIGHT AT THE KING'S

Cranbrook, BC - Rain has stopped and sun is peeping out

Yesterday morning we went to Tim Horton's to hook up to the internet and check messages.  In the afternoon, Denis and Al hooked up the satellite dish to experiment with some ideas.  It worked and they're happy.

Wendy and I strolled around their acreage enjoying a day without rain.  We had a four-legged friend join us, Spunky a teacup chihuahua, who set the pace for us.  Again, Wendy and Al invited us for a lovely dinner.  Wendy fired up the grill and grilled some tasty steaks.  We had baked potatoes with all the fixings, steamed carrots, a nice broccoli salad and I brought some of my left-over German red cabbage.  We even had strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Denis and I are getting serious about planning our Alaskan trip and have re-routed our trip several times.  Our original plan to visit Jasper and Banff has been ditched due to road closures and flooding. It looks like we'll be heading out tomorrow towards Edmonton.

That's all folks - thanks for stopping in.

  1. Kings campground looks wonderful especially when it comes with a steak dinner. Keep enjoying your nice weather.
