We went to the 8:00 mass this morning so that we'd have time to go to the all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. For 99 cents you got two huge fresh-off-the-grill pancakes, served on a tin plate and a cup of hot coffee. They also had fresh biscuits with gravy and sausage for a couple of dollars. All we could eat were two pancakes.
In the theater area, they had a non-domination service with two cowboys singing gospel songs. Outside, we met an interesting guy who pressed pennies and he had all kinds of interesting stories about Kevin Costner, his brother Dan and his dad Bill.
I spent the rest of the afternoon reading in the sunshine. Denis got us ready for hitting the road tomorrow.
It's always a bittersweet feeling to be moving on when you really enjoy an area. Be Safe and Enjoy!

So true - I really enjoyed the Black Hills
DeleteYou guys have really done some wonderful hikes in this area. I've sure enjoyed them. We had pancakes for breakfast this morning but Jim made ours with applesauce in them.
ReplyDeleteWe like to make our pancakes with applesauce too. I like to add corn but Denis isn't too crazy about that
DeleteCan't beat a .99 cent breakfast and then reading in the sunshine. another great day!
