WILLIAMS LAKE, BC

After leaving Burns Lake and our car at the auto body shop, we drove to Prince George and pulled into a Walmart for the night.  Before calling it a day, we walked to Home Depot for screws and to Canadian Tire to look for a bike roof rack (they didn't have the one we were looking for but Amazon did) and of course, we bought a few items at Walmart.

For those of you that overnight at Walmart, you know that the McDonald's there has public wi-fi but you can't get it from the parking lot, which is a pain.  We discovered that Home Depot has public wi-fi and it's a strong signal that you can get from the parking lot.  So guess what, we moved our coach from Walmart to Home Depot for the night.  We asked the manager if they have a problem with us staying overnight and they didn't.

This morning we woke up early, did some computing, had breakfast and then hit the road.  We stopped at a Ford and Honda dealerships to check out their SUVs.  We test drove the Ford Escape and looked at the Honda.  Denis is doing more research about the weight, towability and price.  We want to test drive the Chevy Equinox and the Honda CR-V.  Maybe after a good night's sleep this will all make sense to us but for now, we're both tired and need to sleep on it.

That's all folks!  Thanks for stopping in.

P.S.  The weather is much warmer here and we turned on the AC for a while to cool down the coach. The nights should be comfortable though.

    1. Hi guys, thanks for joining my site. We had a couple of days with lots of mosquitos but the bugs were no worse than anywhere else. It was a non-issue. You will absolutely love Alaska and the roads are not nearly as bad as everyone will tell you.
