Today was our second chiropractic treatment and we're feeling better already. Less body aches and no more headaches. We get tomorrow off and then we have an appointment every morning next week.
We heard from Alton and Wendy with not so good news. They were riding their motorcycle and got hit broadside. We don't have all the details but they are okay, however, they suffered lacerations and bruising. They are still planning on meeting us in Yuma and going into Mexico. Alton and Wendy, if you're reading this please know we're thinking of you and wish you a speedy recovery.
Denis blew up the kayak today and we went out on the pond for a while. Spent some time poolside reading and swimming. After dinner, we enjoyed a walk watching the beautiful sunset.

This morning I dragged my body out of bed at 6:30 to capture the sunrise. Now tell me, which do you think is prettier, sunrise or sunset?

Another wonderful day in paradise. Thanks for stopping in.
SIDE NOTE: I finally got the social worker at the Soldier's Home to hook up with ooVoo video conferencing. They got dad seated in front of the computer and we had a short face-to-face conversation. He looks good and they even had him in a button down shirt instead of his standard white tee shirt. His attention span is limited but it was great to be able to see him. We're going to arrange regular video conferences.
Beautiful pictures, but we like the sunset the best. Prayer go up on behalf of your friends who were in the accident.
ReplyDeleteHope you friends will be ok and heal fast.
ReplyDeleteSo nice that you were able to chat face to face with your dad too.
Sure glad to hear your friends weren't injured too badly. Very scary. I'm a sunset person - probably because I don't ever get up in time to see the sunrise. But they are both gorgeous. I would have loved to be able to talk computer to computer with my Dad but that was before we all figured out how to do it. So enjoy your time with your Dad.
