OLD TOWN TEMECULA - FARMER'S MARKET

I heard about a farmer's market in Old Town Temecula and we planned on going there today no later than 9AM.   Unfortunately, Denis dropped his phone last night and the glass shattered.  So a good part of his morning was spent on the phone with Verizon to get a replacement.  By the time we got to the farmer's market they were beginning to close up but I managed to snag a dozen eggs, some flavored hummus and a basket of mixed berries.   Because it was lunch time, we shared a Greek pastry filled with spinach and cheese.

Once we got to Old Town we both remembered being there once before when we were visiting this area.  It's a fun place and was very busy, maybe, because they had a Greek Festival going on.  Denis bought himself a pair of bifocal sunglasses to replace the ones in lost.  Before we left, we had to get a root beer float to help us cool off from the almost 90 degree temperature.

Very nice farmer's market

Enjoyed the local crafts - some people are just so imaginative

Don't know what this building is but it was the entrance for the Green Festival
This evening we had happy hour with Gene and Maria.  Now that's what a call a nice day.

  1. Too bad about Denis's phone, just tell him not to drop it anymore and it will be fine.
