Enjoyed getting together with Claude, Val, Tony and Mieke for happy hour last night. It was nice to re-connect with Claude and Val. We bumped into them a few times at Styxx River and Abita Springs but it's been a few years since we saw them last. Val saw us doing Tai Chi and Denis gave her lessons. She's been taking lessons and practicing regularly since then.

Got up a little earlier this morning for a walk then Val came over to do Tai Chi with Denis and I had a very good yoga practice. All this accomplished before our 10AM chiropractic appointment. I've been looking for a local farmer's market and after our appointment we drove around a while trying to find one. Mission accomplished, the produce was fresh and inexpensive. The Yuma market is open Thursday through Sundays and has everything imaginable. We'll be back!

Got together for happy hour at Val and Claude's. They bought a Beaver since the last time we saw them and they gave us the tour. They got a good deal on a 40' 2003 and it's very nice.

Happy Birthday to Denis! Sounds like it was a good one, favorite foods included. Glad you are recovering with the chiropractic. Enjoy yourself in Yuma. We have been having a wonderful time in Prague and board the boat for the river cruise today. Happy trails!

ReplyDeleteI've heard from other folks that the Yuma Market is really great. The Yuma area is such a big agricultural place. Nice to be able to enjoy fresh produce in November.
