LAST DAY IN WINTERHAVEN

Yesterday after attending mass at Immaculate Conception Church we went to IHop with Tony and Mieke.  Thank you Tony for treating us.  After a good breakfast/lunch we went to the Yuma Marketplace looking for some gravity chairs to replace the ones we've had for about seven years. Mission accomplished, we got two for $99 (not a bad price).  Our old ones were canvas and these are much nicer. They're made of a material that vents the air, washes and dries easily and they're powder coated.  We, also, bought a small aluminum table to use for our BBQ.

At the end of the day, we enjoyed another happy hour with our friends.

This morning we went to our chiropractor as usual.  What was unusual is I won the drawing for referring a friend, Denis.  What a surprise to win a huge gift basket from The Peanut Patch.

The day seemed to just slip by and plans were made but never quite materialized.  I prepared a late lunch of salmon grilled in coconut oil, sticky rice and broccoli - one of our favorite meals.

That's all folks!  Thanks for stopping in.

  1. Congrats on the basket. The Peanut Patch has some good stuff. Where are you off to?
