Yesterday ended up being a full day of activities. Before breakfast, Denis and I took a walk along the beach in the opposite direction of the town and found the beach to be much cleaner and prettier. It was a nice way to begin the day.

| How do the pelicans know when the fishing boats are out? |

| Lots of fishing boats launch in the morning |
After our morning routine and lunch we met at the El Capitan for a birthday celebration. All the park members and guests were there.

We needed to go into town for a few groceries and this was our first time driving the car since we arrived. Tony drove which was good because without his 4-wheel drive we might still be stuck in the sand on the side street. We found a store that the locals go to and found out we needed to pay in pesos. So the guys left us to our shopping and went to exchange some money. The funny part is neither one of the them brought their wallets and had to go back to the campground. They went to two ATM's and both were not working. Needless to say by the time they got back, Mieke and I had long finished our shopping. We spent $145.00 in pesos which is the equivalent of about $13.00. Very cheap for all the stuff we bought.

After dinner, Denis and I went to watch the Karaoke. It was fun and some people had pretty good voices. We didn't participate but I enjoy singing along when others are on stage. At 9PM they were still going strong but we called it a night.
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping in.
Love shopping at the local store in Mexico, so much fun and very reasonable too.
