SAYING GOODBYE TO NEW ENGLAND AND OPENING DAY AT THE BIG E

After a nice visit with my Aunt Donna and her family (thank you Aunt Donna for letting us stay in your drive way) we're on the road again.

We enjoyed opening day at the Big E Eastern State Exposition the sun was shining and the crowds were minimal because it was on a Friday.  I think we set a record for the longest day at the park but we walked at a leisurely pace and sat down when we needed to.  As with any fair, they have all the goodies and lots of fried stuff.  I was very happy with my food choices, no fried oreos for me. Breakfast was warm bread pudding topped with whipped cream.  Lunch was spinach with cheese ravioli and eggplant fries with pesto dip.  Dinner was Millie's pierogies and stuffed cabbage.  All was yummy.

They're here every year but up until now we never paid the buck to go in and see the Giant Horse

I can't close my blog without an updated photo of my beautiful grand daughter, Kiev.  We will miss her very much this winter.

That's all folks, thanks for stopping in to say hi.
