SHARING BEACH TIME WITH MY SON

Daniel and Karen drove down from Quebec (without our grand daughter) and got some well-deserved rest and relaxation.  Karen's mom volunteered to watch the baby but that extended their drive time to about 10-hours.  They arrived here safe and sound but a bit road weary.

My birthday was on Friday and we celebrated with a very delicious seafood dinner.  What a treat!

My hubby surprised me with this cozy Maine sweatshirt, Christi bought me a bakery fresh raspberry pie and Daniel got me a Yankee Candle - I LOVE surprises

Daniel and Karen's last day was spent on the beach.  The air was cool but, for Maine, the water was warm and they all got to play in the waves.  That was Karen's first time on a boogie board and they had such a good time.  It makes me happy to see them so happy together.
