Our primary care physician prescribed levothyroxine because of my thyroid numbers and prescribed a statin drug for Denis' cholesterol numbers. Before undertaking a life-time of prescription meds, we're taking the homeopathic route for six months. We're taking the recommended supplements and will have new lab work done in 2-3 months. I'll keep you posted.
I had my first cardio testing which consisted of a stress test, echo and 24-hour monitor. I'm happy to report that all is normal. Of course the creme de la creme was my colonoscopy.
Thankfully, God has blessed us with good health and we will do everything we can to keep it that way. We were both diagnosed with a gluten intolerance and have begun eating gluten free, stepped up our exercise a bit with more cardio and Denis has committed to losing a few pounds.
We're looking forward to flying back to New England for Thanksgiving to spend time with the family. I can't wait to see our grand daughter again. This blog wouldn't be complete without sharing some updated pictures of her.

Keeping healthy is harder than just living everyday carefree.
ReplyDeleteOnce we go Fulltime next spring we are hoping that we'll be able to shed some weight as well.
It is a miracle watching the grands as they seemed to grow with the blink of an eye.
