I've made a promise to myself to start blogging again. Not even sure why I slacked off. I may have been putting too much pressure on myself to make it interesting, informative or wordy. So I'm going to try for a daily post but I'm not going to beat myself up if it's only once a week.
We've had a blessed 2015. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and renewed our vows with beautiful new rings. We took a very unexpected trip to Israel. Our son blessed us with a beautiful granddaughter, yes, we're first-time grandparents, very exciting for us. We purchased a 2013 Winnebago Journey.
The results of our routine physicals prove that our healthy lifestyle is paying off. Denis, at 65, got a clean bill of health with the exception of watching his cholesterol numbers. At 62, I too, received a clean bill of health with the exception of hypo-thyroidism. After visiting a homoeopathic doctor, we both learned that we have an intolerance to gluten. We are now on a gluten-free diet but I had to add no dairy to that. I'm on an intensive gut-healing diet, supplementation and hormone therapy program. I'll keep you posted on the results of this.
We flew into Connecticut and had a very nice Thanksgiving with my brother and all the family. It was special to have our daughter, Christi, and her boyfriend Phil join us. Our son, Daniel, his girlfriend, Karen, and our beautiful granddaughter, Kiev, stayed for several nights.
We spent a good portion of our summer in Maine, Quebec and Montreal. The Moody Beach campground is a wonderful place to stay for the summer and our kids can drive down from Canada to stay with us for a while, which they did and it was great to spend quality time with them. Got time with my Aunt Donna in Massachusetts and time on the shores of Connecticut with my brother.

Christmas was celebrated in Benson, Arizona with our friends, Tony and Meike, and other travelers at the clubhouse. The ham dinner was great and we had a gift exchange that was fun.

We've been spending a lot of time getting to know our new home. Cleaning, arranging and re-arranging stuff. We love the change from a gas to diesel ride, much quieter and very smooth driving. With three slides instead of two and seven feet longer than our last rig, we love the spaciousness. We practically get lost in our king size bed and the master bathroom is a luxury I'm just loving.
