We went to the store to buy some of their local honey and met a very interesting 82 year old lady that worked and lived at the RV park there. She is Mrs. Thelma Meyers, yes, the same Mrs. Meyers natural cleaning products. She was a real pistol, not to mention probably a millionaire, if you'd like to read her story, please click on the link: Mrs. Thelma Meyers Story. She was trying to recruit us to help clean pecans, which she does every year with the help of volunteers, mostly snowbirds.
This week in Benson has been too cold for us. Every night the heat is pumping because the temps drop down into the 20's. During the day if the sun comes out the temps warm up into the 50's but I still find that too chilly. Tomorrow we'll head to warmer weather and I'll be happy to shed my fleece and sweats.

We really enjoyed our visit to the monastery a couple years ago. I am also more than ready for a warm up.

Holy Trinity is a very interesting place glad you enjoyed it. Yes Benson is colder than here much higher elevation. Her near Yuma is a warm as it will get in southern Arizona.
