SUNNY SUNDAY

This morning we went to the 8:30 mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Yuma.  This time we made sure it was in English.  Today we celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany which commemorates the manifestation of the glory of Christ to the Gentiles in the person of the Magi, as well as His Baptism and first miracle at Cana.

After breakfast, I decided it was time to take down the Christmas decorations and put them away.  It didn't take long and everything is back where it belongs.  I've been putting off cleaning out the trunk of the car which seems to have collected a far share of junk we don't use.  We tackled this job together and now have plenty of room to put our groceries in the trunk instead of having to put them in the back seat.

We only got 6,000 steps in today not reaching our goal of 10,000 steps.  But that's ok, because I feel we accomplished a few things and had a very nice happy hour at our place.

Our friends, George & Suzie, new friends, John & Barb and brand-new friends Jim & Sharon all came over for a visit.  One of the nicest things about this lifestyle is the old and new friends we meet along the way.
