We pieced the day together and remembered that we went to the marketplace to return a tool to the water filter guy and bought a awning sunscreen. As soon as we got back Denis put it up to make sure it fit correctly. The short zippered piece stays attached to the awning and then you simply zip on the screen when you need it. Very convenient and it looks nice. I forgot to take a picture but I will next time we put it up.
We shopped at WalMart and I'm surpised how much gluten-free products they sell. I especially like the "family-sized" loaf of bread and English muffins.
We had leftovers for lunch and I made that bourbon chicken crock pot recipe that has been circulating on Facebook. I had all the ingredients except the bourbon but the recipe is a keeper because it was delicious. Of course, Denis thought it was too hot because I added a teaspoon of hot pepper flakes. He's such a wimp.
We went to visit John and Barb with George and Suzie for happy hour which ended up being happy "two" hours. The sun was warm, the view was pretty and the conversation was lively. My bourbon chicken was ready and waiting for us when we got back, just needed to make the rice, gravy and tossed salad.

Glad your enjoying the warmth of the area you are in. We are hoping to head in that direction next winter.
