Can you believe the size of this chair? |
After our regular morning routine, we packed up the long guns and headed to Adair Outdoor Shooting Range in Fortuna Foothills, Arizona. We like it there because it is very relaxed and not very many people go there during the week.
I had fun shooting at tin cans, golf balls and miscellaneous junk. I'm getting more accurate at ranges of 75 to 100 yards. Poor Denis was having trouble with his rifle (it kept jamming) and he ended up bringing it in for service.
After shooting we stopped at From The Farm. It's a rather unique place serving what some claim to be the best fish tacos, date shakes and Mexican food. Denis got a date shake and I had a hot tea with fresh Medjool dates.

McPhaul Bridge - 800 foot long bridge spanned the Gila River when it was built in 1929. It was considered too flimsy for modern traffic and a dam was built in 1968 which diverted the river and the highway was re-routed. |
We said goodbye to our neighbors and new friends, Nick and Jeannie, this morning. We shared a couple of happy hours on their last few nights at the park. We enjoyed getting to know them.
Hope you had a nice day too. Thanks for stopping in.
Love those relaxing days just hanging out with each other, our favorite kind.
