The ferry is huge and has a gift shop, cafeteria and ice cream shop. We had a nice breakfast and met a local couple that were very interesting. She works in a lobster processing factory and he is a mussel farmer. We learned just how mussels are farmed. If you don't know, it's interesting and you should Google it.
Once we got off the ferry the drive to the campground was just a couple of hours in Baddeck. I think we found the only level site in the park with full hookups for the bargain Coast-to-Coast price of $10 for six nights. So far this entire Maritime excursion has been very reasonable.
